Journalling.
I love journalling.
I started journalling during the pandemic and it has become an important part of my life and healing process.
I have found that writing my thoughts down helps to untangle them and clears the clutter from my mind. It enables me to process life and releases me from my stories.

My journal is a safe space for me to write down my feelings and emotions, enabling me to process and heal old wounds and gain compassion for myself.
I have been able to understand my patterns, my experiences and trauma, as well as my limiting beliefs. Alongside this I have allowed my desires to be acknowledged and expressed.

Looking through my old journals gives me clarity on my path...I can see how far I have come, how my thinking has changed and how much has been healed.

Where to start.

Here are a few things you can do when you journal and the reasons and intention behind them.

Dreams:

Our subconscious mind communicates with us when we are asleep, our dreams are significant. Writing them down can bring insight into there meaning and we are more likely to remember them if we have the habit of writing them down.

Daily log:
What happened during your day, special events, moments or even conversations. Make sure you express your feelings and emotions.

Gratitude:
Make sure you use your journal as a place to express your gratitude. We live in a vibrational universe that co-creates with us. When we are grateful we are communicating our desires.

Meditation Insights.
A journal is a great place to record any insights you have during meditation. Journalling these can help to understand yourself and any limiting beliefs.

Wins:
Throughout your day there will be situations that you have been a part of, that your unique set of skills and talents has accomplished something (a kind word, small gesture, or even a choice to stay calm when you could have reacted). This is a win. We often do not acknowledge these, instead dwelling on circumstances that we could have done better.

Why Use Journal Prompts?

Journal prompts are gentle invitations to explore your inner world. Sometimes, when you sit down to write, the blank page can feel overwhelming — that’s where prompts come in. They give you a focused starting point to connect with your thoughts, emotions, and intuition.

Whether you're working through something big, celebrating a win, or just seeking clarity, journal prompts help you:

  • Unlock deeper self-awareness

  • Calm a busy mind

  • Tap into your creativity and spiritual connection

  • Recognise patterns and shift your mindset

  • Develop a daily ritual of reflection and self-care

You don’t need to write pages — just show up honestly. One sentence is enough. This is your sacred space.
